TO SERVICE
Imagine the lasting impact on Central Florida residents who experience Jesus' love, compassion, and kindness through the service of thousands of Alliance Youth!

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW

  • Due to the size of LIFE Conference, it is not possible for us to all serve at the same location. Therefore, numerous service project sites are coordinated across Central Florida.

  • June 29, 2019 — Around this date, we'll contact the person you've designated as your group's Service Project Coordinator (below) to let them know specifics about your group's service project. This will include the day on which you'll serve, the location, the nature of the project, what to wear, and any additional paperwork you'll need.

  • July 9, 2019 - On Tuesday evening (at LIFE) we’ll have a quick orientation for all group Service Project Coordinators. This will be a 30-minute highly-informative (i.e. real necessary) meeting to explain the schedule and the bus loading process. We’ve set up three times on that Tuesday (5:30-6:00pm, 6:00-6:30pm and 9:30-10:00pm) for your convenience. Your group's Service Project Coordinator may choose whichever of these times is best for them. All three meetings will be identical.

  • You need to designate one of your adult chaperones to serve as your group's Service Project Coordinator, using the button below.

TO PRAYER
There's a place for you in the Father's house.

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW

  • The Prayer Experience is carefully designed to help students and leaders interact with God in a variety of creative, yet simple ways. It is designed to feel like walking into God’s home—where you’ll find Him eager to embrace you, spend some quality time with you, and lead you and your students deeper into the life we have in and with Jesus.

  • The Prayer Experience takes place on-site at LIFE Conference a specially-constructed life-size "house." Prayer prompts in each "room" will help guide participants who walk through at their own pace.

  • The Prayer Experience is open throughout LIFE Conference. There is no additional cost or registration.

TO JUSTICE
An eye-opening, hands-on, interactive, global challenge designed to awaken us to injustice in the world.

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW

  • The Justice Experience will empower students and leaders to join God's mission in bringing freedom to the captives both locally and globally. This hands-on, interactive experience will awaken you and your students to slavery issues around the world and in your neighborhood. In addition, participants will be equipped to understand what God is calling them to do about it.

  • The Justice Experience takes place on-site at LIFE Conference a specially-constructed facility. Interactive exhibits in each "room" will help guide participants who walk through at their own pace.

  • The Justice Experience is open throughout LIFE Conference. There is no additional cost or registration.

TO COMMUNITY
Lifelong friendships are forged in the activities hall, during small group time, and in the pool. Embrace the fun!

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW

  • A variety of free-time activity spaces will be available on-site throughout LIFE Conference, including the Activities Hall, swimming pool, volleyball and basketball courts, and more — all at no additional cost.

  • Sign up for the various sports tournaments when you arrive in Orlando. Sign up will be held in the Activities Hall on Tuesday evening (July 9) for sand volleyball, soccer, and 3-on-3 basketball. Tournaments will start on Wednesday.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Free-time activities run by LIFE Conference will be closed during main sessions and during the first seminar of each day. However, resort-managed activities (such as the swimming pools) will not be closed. It is the responsibility of each group’s leaders to ensure that students are present in the main sessions.

TO GIVING
Grab your friends and your best neon gear for an unforgettable experience! Walk, run, skip, crawl—whatever! The best part is that your registration fee will directly benefit children on the other side of the world!

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW

  • Proceeds from the 5K Glow Run/Walk will benefit Silver Lining Missions in Myanmar. This ministry provides love for the disabled, joy to students, a home for orphans, and emergency medical assistance. You can learn more about their work at www.silverliningmissions.org.

  • Specifically, proceeds from the 5K Glow Run/Walk will go to two objectives:

    • The first will be to build a new multi-family building in their Family Village located in the Mandalay Province. The building will house four new "families"—meaning 40 orphans with parents. Their holistic, family approach is groundbreaking in Myanmar.

    • The second objective is to build a 3-story building in the capital city of Yangon for their growing physical therapy program for kids with cerebral palsy. These kids still live with their families, but would likely end up on the street without this care.

  • The 5K Glow Run/Walk will take place on Friday evening, looping around the Marriott Golf Course.  With black lights and glow sticks galore, it's bound to be an amazing time. Come dressed in all the neon attire you have! Attendees will be able to stop by a selfie booth, lit with black lights, to capture the memory.

  • Each pre-registered participant will receive a finisher shirt and medal.

Pre-registration ($35 per person) closes on May 31, 2019.
On-site registration ($45 per person) will be available on Tues (7/9) and Wed (7/10) at LIFE Conference.

TO GIVING
What if each person at LIFE 2019 brought just $19 for the LIFE Offering? Imagine the difference we could make together!

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW

  • The LIFE Conference offering is not included in your registration price. It is a voluntary above-and-beyond offering that will be collected during the Friday night main session.

  • This year's LIFE Conference Offering has been designated to Silver Lining Missions in Myanmar. This ministry provides love for the disabled, joy to students, a home for orphans, and emergency medical assistance. You can learn more about their work at www.silverliningmissions.org.

    1. The first will be to build a new multi-family building in their Family Village located in the Mandalay Province. The building will house four new "families"—meaning 40 orphans with parents. Their holistic, family approach is groundbreaking in Myanmar.

  • Several short videos are available to explain and promote the LIFE Conference Offering to your group. They're available on the Resource Page.
